Project descriptionKo Sukorn is a small island of the Andaman coast. Volunteers help the Muslim local community to preserve their traditional way of life, growing rice, watermelons and vegetables in a non chemical way. This project starts in August from the planting to the harvesting of rice in December, then collecting rice straw to make compost and plant watermelons until March. You will be joining the daily life of locals and organizing activities with local kids. Volunteers have to stay at least 2 months. It is closed from April to July due to the rain season.
